I use EspMod v.4.2 and had no crash when using the save game editor to reveal ore and add items. I have also used it to edit Gnomes, and spawn Gnomes with no problems.

First I want to say, Thanks Pasta for continuing to work on this project when everyone else seems to have given up.

OK, I tried a game a few years in this time, to see if getting things going and moved around would help. It did not. The link below, is the zip file with my edited game file and the backup the editor created. I tried multiple attempts at various edits and they all crashed the game when I loaded the save. This one is using Sam's MultiMod v0.2, which is the best compile I have found so I don't mind playing this without the editor, but I just want to spawn more gnomes. The save I am uploading to you is one in which I expanded ore by 1. The error log message is below and the link points to my zip file with the backup and the edited game file.

I think the issue is with expanding ore and not saving before doing anything else. Try expanding the ore, saving, then doing everything else and let me know if it works, should be easy enough to fix if that's the case :) I've uploaded the source code here: http://klanderso.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/GnomoriaEditorSource.zip

That was the only thing I did, was expand ore by one click, saved then tried to load it.

Thanks, for me all I really want is to expand ore, since even with shallow and abundant, I can never find metals until at least level -10 for some reason; and spawn gnomes, for when I have a safe and highly functional kingdom, but still no gnomads arrive. That's just me though.

Thanks for the update, I am still getting an error on opening my saves. So I decided to test it by opening the save with the editor, then going directly to saving with NO CHANGES at all. I still get the crash after it loads.

So in short, loaded saved game into editor, saved game from editor, loaded game in Gnomoria, crashed after loading, though it did get farther into the loading process. It may be my mods so I will try it again on a stock game tonight or tomorrow. Here is the save files, the original and the save the editor made, so you can compare them, maybe you can open them and see what changes your editor made since I didn't actually change anything, just saved it, and that should narrow down where the issue is. The log file is also below.

Edit: Additional info

I tested a stock game, no mods, doing the same thing, no changes just saved it from the editor, and had the same issue.

Also, see if you can open the modified world05. If you can, it may mean there is something wrong with my install, because I find it odd, I am the only one having issues.

Weird, I upgraded to the test version of the game and the editor seems to be working on stock games so far. Still want to test the modded games.
