Pasta, the game just crashes, i did only 1 thing as you suggested, still a crash.

Alright, can you do a couple things for me? This applies to anyone having these issues. This is all inherited code so every little bit helps :)

First, are you on indev or regular?
What exactly did you do (include quantities/type of items added)?
Can you send me (or attach to your response) your save both before and after you've edited it?

Thanks, I appreciate it :)

Regular branch update.
Added 2 unedited gnomes, revealed ore and expanded ore.

I deleted saves, but I'll edit something tonight on the Peaceful I've had going for awhile. Other game had standard enemies.

I think it might have to do with the camera. Each time it crashes on loading the save, it's on the Camera() method.

@Godbyelol, I was able to get it to work by loading the pre-edited save and zooming in, then editing it.

@LEDlump, I couldn't open either save, I think it has to do with the mod you've got installed.

Not dead. He's working on it. Trying to figure out why edits are freezing.

Regular branch.

https://mega.nz/#!pI0yVSoK!uoV0KyPACIDGPB_wlKnSNX6KV_IB2Sd5makhTjg9QFY

Edited and unedited.

Before editing, I moved the camera around, and queued up a few basic jobs (forage, dig, etc.).
All I did for the edit was reveal map and ore.

Edited and unedited.

All I did for the edit was reveal map and ore.

Looks like the camera is the culprit again. On the unedited save, zoom in one (so you're at the middle zoom level), save, and try editing it again. It should work.

Alright, I believe I've fixed the issue people are seeing when they try to load edited saves where the camera was zoomed all the way out. Any previously broken saves will still be broken and will NOT load in the editor, there's no way around that. But from now on it should work. Full notes:
  • Fixed zoom level breaking saves
  • Now creates backup save when loading, rather than when saving any edits
  • Disabled deleting gnomes
  • Updated version number and about dialog

Pasta- You Sir, are a god. Thanks for this- I've had no issues with two of my saves, both previously edited (one with this, and one with the first save game editor.

Previously edited game- modded- added items and revealed ore with no problems.

Previously edited game- not modded- added item with no problems.

As an aside, have i missed something or is there no way to add Golem Cores with this save editor?

I run on Steam and have used this editor to try and tweak my games. I found that some mods work while others don't. Although, one that had worked, isn't working now for some reason, that I am trying to dig into. I have tested a few mod and only found 1 that worked but it was over a year into the game before i tried to use the editor.
Mods that I found work from Steam Workshop:
Extended Agriculture

Crashes when using these mods:
EspMod v0.4.1 (Formerly EspEcon)
Sam's MultiMod v0.2

Last Error Log:

I will edit and add more mods to the lists as I go. and compare error logs and see if I get anything else.
Edit: Changed error log to be new error with the new version of the editor.
