3649310418 has some larger, as well as smaller lakes: http://db.tt/HfZwrEHy
118045142 has a somewhat natural looking river: http://db.tt/YUqnEdWP

Thank you! I spent 45 minutes generating random worlds and failing to create a nice large lake. Unfortunately I have already started the game and went with the 1589219698 seed posted a few pages back.

I'm aware of that, thank you. But the type of challenge I envisioned required a lake, and once I started it I really didn't want to start from scratch.

EDIT: That being said, I would love for something like "water levels" to be implemented in map generation...
Aquifers? You'll have to post in the suggestions forum section.

Also I posted a seed with a rather large lake a few pages back. Also there's one with half the map is water.

I have found a pretty good "lonely mountain" type seed.

I left everything to defaults and made a "large" map.

Seed 4025025061
Offset  -40, 80

Nice lonely spire (+25 height) vertical cliffs on 2 sides, with a slope to get to the bottom on the other 2. It over looks a plain and some small hills. The offset will center you on the very tip of the spire. Screenshot is standard, but I think it would work on small as well.

That's an awesome seed for a "lonely castle" themed fortress :)

It took a while to get the offset right to get them on top of the mountain, but totally worth it. I thought of building a skyscraper like tower out of it, and since it was already a sheer cliff I could 'build' windows (read: remove walls) for some of the higher units.

Random seed I tried: 332423455
(Size huge, terrain settings in first screenshot. Tweak offset to position as you wish)
Has some nice mountains and hills for potential projects, and some nice looking flat valleys for farms.

(Images are kinda large, so I refrained from using img tags.)

Also, greetings Gnomoria forums.
Nice view from up here, donít you think? It almost makes me forget that this is only a video game.

Somehow the offset is now -55, 80 ( if you play on Huge you can see another tower off in the corner of the map.)

I figured out what my typo was for my epic mountain seed. The real seed is: 1343129375  Again, I left everything to defaults and made a "large" size world.
