- sometimes biters (ingame enemies) just get stuck in place. The most likely cause for this is some bug in their AI. This does not cause CPU usage spike so it isn't to big of a gameplay problem. In fact it makes a game a bit easier as you can go and kill them without any danger to yourself.

This is the only bug I've seen of the ones you mentioned.

I usually use the map editor to make a simple scenario.  That lets me alter the map to make it have a better starting spot and then I can save it to use again.

To be honest besides biters getting stuck sometimes I haven't expirienced any other bugs myself (except for a few that has already been fixed after I have reported them).
I have just quickly wrote which bugs got reported most often on the Factorio forum which I visit regularry.
