Steam - My two cents: I need a confirmation
« on: February 05, 2013, 02:45:18 AM »
So i have to say that i love Gnomoria.
I have attempted to force myself and get a like of DF, but... well...

Not trying to step on any toes here, but up till now Gnomoria has blown my mind. I fiddled around with the demo through the entire night, and thats something not many games are capable of doing to me.

Anyhow.
My issue is as follows:
I would like to buy the game, right here and right now, but i am unsure whether or not the Desura buyers will get a steam key.
Is there any guarantee that the alpha buyers will get one?
Im asking only because i know that gnomoria has been green lighted, and i intend to keep all of my stuff to steam. The mere idea of having games through multiple gaming portals and accounts creeps me out.

So yeah... I didnt find any direct answers in regard of this question, so i figured i would ask.

Woo!  Thanks everyone! <3

Gnomoria will continue to be available on BMT and Desura and of course be kept up to date as well.

I'm expecting to give out Steam keys to everyone who already purchased a copy.  I just didn't want to make any promises until I saw something from Valve that said it was ok.  I think it's pretty standard though, and I'd be really surprised if I couldn't do it.

Fun Ha!

afaik yes, if you buy before it's out on steam you'll get a steam key once it's out on steam.
