These are very nice. That must have taken a lot of time and effort.

I've actually had several problems with that on this map for some reason. You can free them if you dig out the walls around them, and then make someone build a wall right where they are. Other times they get stuck after placing furniture, and I unstick them by deconstructing it, then building a wall right on their spot. Seems to work. It's annoying but ah well.

Nice I love seeing the seed i found being put to use! I actually gave up on that one, and went with a flat terrain for my castle. Ill be uploading pics soon, but I only have the first 4 floors done (each floor is 3 floors in height to make it scale bigger). Hope to have em up soon.

cmfahatchetman I love that gate!

THANKS!
I don't play on peaceful. Whats in the picture is pretty much all I got. The first thing I always do is wall in an area and set 2 guys to train at the entrance.

The castle is only 32 X 37 if i remember right.
walls are 1 block thick and 2 high......also my kingdom worth was less than around 500-600 until the near the end of year 2 so my army of 4 crossbowmen and 6 decked out soldiers could easily handle the 1 or 2 naked goblins easy.

The gates

Parthenon & Hospital

Oh yeah,.thanks to Portugus for showing how to make a fake moat. A real moat turns out very dangerous in close proximity with training ground, they keep fall and drowning  when training  :'(

This is an image of the modern-style city I was building.
Ground floors have workshops and upper floors contain personal quarters of 9-16 tiles each.
Somehow mants got past my guards (who refuse to go after them) so I probably won't finish it.

Peak oil.
look it up.

Kyoshi what are those bars and pillars you use?

the bar is a silver axle, and the pillar were marble pillar.
The pillar look may look different/strange,  since pillar cannot be place directly on top each other, so i place a floor underneath each subsequent pillar.
Also, cannot be seen on the pic, but actually there's a torch in each corner in each floor to make the marble retain their white look (to avoid the black zebra pattern due lack of light)
There's no need to manually count to place a torch, here's how :
