Looking for screenshots
« on: September 04, 2012, 03:28:34 PM »
I need your help!  The screenshots I took a few months back for Gnomoria could be better.  Through all the bug fixing, I've loaded up a few of your worlds and you guys have made some cool stuff!

If you made something cool and you'd like to share, post your screenshots here and I will add some to the website and Steam Greenlight pages.

Thanks!

I thought some of the creations from Girlinhat's Play to Win contest were pretty awesome: http://forums.gnomoria.com/index.php?topic=718.0

Oooh ^.^
I'm going to have to give a proper go at it when building my castles for this.

Not much here in my own screenshots, just a newb's humble little village, but its certainly growing.
On this one I am taking it very easy and just having fun with the building in the game.
I usually tinker with these kind of things to learn the picky bits - Such as the infamous situation where a gnome would mine themselves into a corner of the room, waiting for me to send builders to rescue them from their predicament.

[spoiler]
http://i46.tinypic.com/2reo7dc.png - Bird's eye view of strawberry/wheat farms, pasture and tree plantations.
http://i50.tinypic.com/5poj1v.png - Dorms (More Gnomads arrived without me noticing :S)
http://i49.tinypic.com/qoekv6.png - Quick cloth storage and workshops
http://i46.tinypic.com/2cieccn.png - Downstairs wood room and stone room, with leather tanner opposite.
http://i47.tinypic.com/2ebsmdi.png - Storages for raw wood, mining scrap, misc and food with blacksmith and food/drink workshops too.
http://i48.tinypic.com/a4y1hw.png - Currently there are two unseen layers of sandstone mined out but this is whats underneath me.

As for the one I posted, I didn't build that. I got it from another thread and rehosted it on imgur. But I guess it's ok for you to use it from a 'copyright'-perspective. Nobody can own a screenshot.

Post that article somwhere here, when it's finished, ich bin auch deutsch ;)

A Lapis Lazuli castle I made just for yuks.

Also, a very funny combat situation - A goblin picks up his severed leg and attacks a gnome with it. That's one tough goblin.

and yes, every single one of my guys is armed and armored except for the gimp squad. That squad is full of one legged guys that spend all day tinkering and making things and never hauling. I have two soldiers that both have one arm, and they constantly show up at the hospital to be given something to drink, since the drinking hand is not the same as their crafting hand? (BUG?)
