I would create an account myself and just start making changes, but I don't want to step on your (or Merry's) toes.
This is one of the things holding me back as well, as mentioned in my OP. I envision this site as easy to browse as something similar (with regard to the number and uses of items/crafting) to
Minecraft's Wiki.
For example: a single page for each item that uses the "Item" infobox template (which I don't think exists yet, but can easily be borrowed from the internet) that describes Value, Workshops that build it, Workshops that are needed before building it, stack size, etc.
The same can be done for NPC mobs, with things like Toughness (perhaps Minimum Required Armor Level or something of the like, as mobs don't have health bars) spawn locations, group sizes, etc.
Then, with all items in their own page, we categorize them. We can have categories like the ones in the game. Soil, Stone, Wood, Metals, Gems, etc. as subcategories within the larger "Items" category. I've done something similar to the Miasmata Wiki's
Plants page. Every item in the game would be listed on the bottom, just as all plants in Miasmata are listed. And at the top there are subcategories to get more specific and find what you're after a little easier.
Furthermore, if an item is deleted, it's easier to deal with just deleting/un-categorizing that page as opposed to removing its mention across several pages the way the wiki is set up now.
